• Parenting can be hard

But parenting kids who struggle with neurodevelopmental issues can feel impossible.

  • Is your child struggling with impulsivity?

Whether ADHD or anxiety is the culprit, there are tools that parents can use to decrease impulsive behavior in children.

  • Do you find yourself yelling often?

Yelling. Consequences. Rewards. You’ve tried it all. Nothing works. There are other ways, and there are other tools.

  • Do you feel that your child is manipulative or rigid?

We are all manipulative and inflexible at times. Finding the right parenting strategy to manage this is essential.

Child Behavior Management Program

If your child has recently been diagnosed with a neurological or neurodevelopmental disorder, or if they are exhibiting oppositional behavior, impulsivity, argumentativeness, hyperactivity, or aggression, then you may benefit from parenting support to help manage these concerns at home.

Often, these symptoms are best treated through systemic interventions (or environmental interventions). This means that the provider works with caregivers or teachers, rather than working one-on-one with the child to remedy the behavioral issues. Goals of this work include altering the environment to accommodate areas of relative weakness, to promote the development of skills, and to build a better understanding of behavioral challenges.
